Since this works for babies, it seems to me to be an excellent idea to try it on myself. So, the next time I feel a lot of pain, I think I will use that as a “reason” to consume something sweet (most likely chocolate). It might help and is unlikely to make things worse.
Nach dem ersten Schnitt kommt dann garantiert: "Herr Kollege, bitte doch eine Spritze!!!"
