20.04.2016 13:45:
"Should boys be made to wait until they reach eighteen to decide if they want to be circumcised?"
Yes 84%
No 16%
"Should boys be MADE TO WAIT until they reach eighteen to decide if they want to be circumcised?"
Zitat von Verantwortungsvolle Presse"Should boys be given the right to decide for themselves when they are eighteen and old enough to give informed consent if they want to be circumcised?"
ZitatNo formal attempts have been made to quantify the extent of medical complaints arising from circumcisions. We know that hundreds of babies and children are admitted to British hospitals every year with infections, uncontrolled bleeding or other complications. Shockingly, despite horrific evidence of serious injuries and even deaths arising from botched circumcisions conducted by unqualified practitioners in non-clinical conditions, there remains no legal regulation of circumcision in this country.
"No formal attempts have been made to quantify the extent of medical complaints arising from circumcisions."
Also besser Kopf in den Sand...

ZitatAs for the circumcision question, it was unnecessary to decide whether the procedure could infringe a child’s rights under Article 3 or Article 8 as the first instance tribunal had found that C would have the positive emotional support of his father and would be conforming to the broad expectations of his culture, both significant factors. Indeed, Moore-Blick LJ found it “difficult to see how C’s circumcision would involve any infringement of the appellant’s Convention rights”
