A doctor used a sugar solution on children's lips as anesthetic and then performed circumcision. The Inspectorate for Health and Care (Ivo) is now launching an investigation by the doctor, reports Svenska Dagbladet
Previously Ivo-investigated another circumciser, also working at a Jewish congregation, for having used anesthetic patches and sugar solution when intervening on boys.
