Lööf said she "understood" the criticism and had been in contact with both Jewish and Muslim leaders in Sweden. "For us, it's an important question to protect freedom of religion and we stand behind that 100 percent," she said
Der Kontakt war anscheinend sehr intensiv. Von Kontakten mit negativ-Betroffenen hört man nichts.

Over the past few years we have seen a number of similar legislative attempts against circumcision in Finland, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. We have seen how the process moves forward and only after a battle we waged with the help of international organizations, not one of these countries banned [circumcision].
Da weiß man doch wenigstens, wer bestimmt wo es lang geht. Jedenfalls nicht die Volksmehrheit, die ja angeblich der "Souverän" in einer Demokratie sein soll. Z.B. hat sich in einer Umfrage in Dänemark 83% für einen solchen Schutz ausgesprochen.
Aber die Weichen werden offenbar wo anders gestellt. In einer "Schlacht", und mit Hilfe nebulöser "Internationaler Organisationen".
Also wird wohl auch wieder jene Initiative in Schweden, Kinder vor Genitalverletzung zu schützen im Keim erstickt werden....
