New York Times: Should You Circumcise Your Child?

    Zitat

I’m Jewish, and I’m circumcised, as are both my sons.

    Zitat

...research that shows that circumcised penises have lower levels of yeast and bacteria

    Zitat

The benefits, while arguably real, are small; likewise the harms.

    Zitat

...we also have to recognize that parents make many, many decisions for their children with a greater and more meaningful impact...

    Zitat

In the end, the decision as to whether parents opt to have their babies circumcised will remain a personal one.

Der Titel lautet "Should You Circumcise Your Child?"
Der Artikel liest sich aber eher wie: "Did I do right to circumcise my sons? Absolutely yes!

    http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/10/ups…ision.html?_r=0

Indeed, as the history of female circumcision suggests, if male circumcision
were confined to developing nations, it would by now have emerged as an in-
ternational cause celebre, stirring passionate opposition from feminists, physicians, politicians, and the global human rights community. If routine medical
circumcision didn't exist today, no one would dare to invent it.
