Weltweit sind nach Schätzungen von Unicef rund 125 Millionen Mädchen und Frauen Opfer von Genitalverstümmelungen. Davon gibt es verschiedene Formen: die Vorhaut der Klitoris kann eingestochen, geritzt oder weggeschnitten werden.
Ja, das ist natürlich eine Genitalverstümmelung. Das ist wirklich schlimm! 
Und Waris Dirie findet auch mehrfach Erwähnung.
Da hätte man das ja auch gerade mal erwähnen können:
