Am 24.April 2013 eröffnete die "Times of Israel" einen neuen Blog mit dem Titel "Ethical Jam". Erstes Thema war Beschneidung im Judentum. Nachdem drei RabinnerInnen die Beschneidung begründet/verteidigt hatten, entspann sich eine interessante und weitgehend erstaunlich sachliche Diskussion zwischen IntaktivistInnen und Gläubigen.

"It seems Orthodox Jews may be more willing to say "yes it decreases sexual pleasure, we do it for religion" whereas reform jews are in denial about the negative effects of removing part of the tip of the penis (which common sense would tell you reduces what it can feel).
This is attested in Eli's film: the Orthodox rabbi is stunningly honest, and the Reform rabbi makes me think of the stereotypical used car salesman (although in fact I've dealt with some used car dealers who are very nice).
