Versteht das einer? Was wird da gemacht?

Recently, tissue-sparing approaches have become a matter of interest, and a nerve-sparing approach is described in adults.

Ach, wie kommt das denn? Dämmert es endlich einigen Eltern, dass da normalerweise viel kaputt gemacht wird?

All circumcisions were carried out for religious purposes...

Preservation of all nervous system structures, including the receptors, appeared to be not possible...

Ach, das ist aber schlecht. Dann lässt man das Schneiden wohl besser komplett.

To give a contemporary evaluation of the preputium histology, challenge the phenomenon of a genuine nerve-sparing approach, and report the results of a prospective cohort contrasting the tissue-sparing fine dissection technique to the regular sleeve circumcision in the pediatric age group

Touch receptors were found to be widespread in the resected preputium tissues. Meissner
bodies were commonly adherent just under the epidermal or mucosal surfaces in both groups.
The measured distance of the receptors to the epidermal surface was under 200 micrometers
in all relevant slides. Pacinian Corpuscles were found to be between 500 micrometers and 1-
millimeter depth of the epidermal or mucosal surfaces. Nerve fascicules and neurovascular
bundles were found to be distributed starting 800 micrometers depth of both surfaces.....

competent subcutaneous connective tissue

Wenn die Natur so viel Aufwand treibt - sollte man doch davon ausgehen, dass die Vorhaut einen Sinn macht. Die Evolution hätte sie sonst auch längst verschwinden lassen.
Wenn man das alles weiß, wie kann man sich dann noch am kindlichen Penis vergehen?
