    • "Pigs Without Blankets" - Dokumentation von Foregen in Planung (upcoming Kickstarter project)

Aus dem E-Mail newsletter von Foregen:
      Kickstarter Around the
      Corner

Keep your eyes peeled, in the coming months we’ll be unveiling our new Kickstarter project. We’ll be raising money for our documentary to raise awareness about circumcision. It’s called Pigs Without Blankets.

The documentary will focus on Hollywood superstar Alan Cumming, children’s rights activist Steven Svoboda, stand-up comedian Kenny Schultz, and Foregen’s Spokesman Eric Clopper, documenting why they entered the
intactivist space and how their story could relate to you.

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!
Thanks to so many of you who wrote in to offer your thoughts and support after being notified that we didn't reach our goal. We really appreciate your dedication.
It was hilariously ill-timed (and unintentional) to have the campaign end on New Year's Eve. As people were counting down the seconds to the new year Kickstarter sent me an email that started with the word "unfortunately." Not the best way to ring in 2016, but we feel this was still a very successful campaign.
We feel so humbled to have raised nearly fifteen thousand dollars, generated a great deal of awareness and press, and engage with each of you - our wonderful and generous donors. If this were a different crowd-sourcing funding mechanism we would be able to use the money we raised, but Kickstarter is an all or nothing system. We used KS because we used it in 2013 for the first campaign and thought it made sense to use it again. However, we have moved the campaign over to Indiegogo here: igg.me/at/PWOB/x/4372945 and ask for your continued support. We'll run it for another 30 days and continue to try to raise the money we need to finish the doc.
We deeply appreciate all of your support and dedication to what is seen as a wacky and "strange" cause. The film we are trying to make aims to shed light on the people who are stigmatized and ridiculed for their passion, and educate the general public about this issue through humor and powerful stories.
We will make this film - we've come to far not to - we hope we can count on you for your patience and support.
      Many thanks,
      Kenny
