Three randomized controlled trials (RCT) in Africa have shown that MC substantially reduces HIV infection in men [10-12], and two of these have also found that MC reduced the prevalence of high risk HPV infections

Conclusions

This study shows no overall association between MC and genital HPV infections in men, except for certain non-oncogenic HPV types for which a weak association was found.
