3.7 Human rights, ethical and legal
implications
The protection and promotion of human rights is inte-
gral to all aspects of HIV prevention, treatment, care
and support. Expansion and initiation of male cir-
cumcision services must ensure that the procedure
is carried out safely, under conditions of informed
consent and without discrimination. With the excep-
tion of South Africa, where the 2005 Children’s Act
prohibits male circumcision for males aged under
16 years except for medical or religious reasons,
most countries do not currently have laws dealing
specifically with male circumcision. One exception
is Israel, where several regulations of the Ministry of
Health are in place to regulate and supervise male
circumcision (

Any future expansion of male circumcision services
needs to be considered within a legal, regulatory and
policy framework to ensure accessibility, acceptabil-
ity and quality of service provision. Guidelines on

Informed consent bei der von ihr gelobten ("weniger Komplikationen") Babyverstümmelung?

SA verbietet "nicht-religiöse" Kinderverstümmelung" unter 16 Jahren? Die sind ja weiter als wir!
Hier dürfen alle Eltern verstümmeln lassen, ob religiös oder antireligiös, direkt ab Geburt - "Messer frei!"

Bloß - bei dem meschuggenen Massenverstümmelungsprogramm in Afrika werden schon lange Jungen ab 12 verstümmelt - und jetzt geht der Trend zu Babyverstümmelung, weil - die können sich überhaupt nicht wehren, da ist es am einfachsten.

FGM und MGM sind für Frau Weiss natürlich gaaanz was anderes! Muss ja, sonst passt es nicht.
